What is ESG reporting and why do I have to start now?

ESG reporting is becoming more and more relevant for all companies as we are getting closer to the day that it becomes EU law.

But what is ESG reporting?

ESG stands for Environmental, Social, and Governance and implies quantifying an organization’s environmental and social impact that it causes in its daily business. While this constitutes a new language for business leaders, we will make sure that you become fluent in no time, as it will be common sense in just a few years from now.

How does this affect you?

Recently, the EU parliament has adopted mandatory sustainability reporting for all companies of a specific size by the beginning of 2024 with the long-term goal to have all companies report their impact in the future.

By requiring public ESG reporting, the government aims to standardize disclosed information about businesses’ impact for all of their stakeholders and to open up competition for sustainability in the market. Therefore, it should also be an incentive to decrease companies’ environmental footprint.

No one knows better than us that doing this on your own can be pretty tough since there are a lot of things that you have to keep in mind. Thus, we have developed a system calculating your business’s impact and helping you to meet the new EU requirements.
