Despite being a comparatively small country, Denmark is a comparatively big polluter among the EU countries.

This is due to most large private companies still refusing to account for their scope 3 emissions or set any emission goals for the future. The result: Denmark is running behind other, larger EU countries, whose firms have been giving much more attention to lowering their environmental impact.

As a country we have always viewed ourselves as progressive and ambitious when it comes to climate protection, but also in technology and education. Learning otherwise is shocking.

EU legislation has recently agreed on mandatory corporate carbon accounting with consistent measures for all companies in the union and it will surely not take long until emission limits are introduced. Taking action early will certainly pay off.

So, with all the resources and knowledge we have available, don’t you think we can tackle this?
